Samuel Gawith's St. James Plug from their Kendal Mayor's Collection is a bold blend of sweet and grassy Virginias and a generous portion of St. James Parish, Louisiana perique.  This combination produces a flavor that is slightly spicy and grassy ... and quite delicious!  This is one of those rare pipe tobacco blends that is pleasing to a wide variety of smokers.  It is also found as a flake, but here is presented as a plug cut.  PLEASE NOTE:  These 8 ounce plugs are cut into 4 pieces that should be roughly 2 ounces each.  However, they are NOT SOLD BY WEIGHT BUT BY THE QUARTER PLUG.
