In Colonial days, Virginia was the source of the finest tobaccos available. Traditionally, farmers packed their precious leaf to be shipped in giant barrels called “hogsheads.”  SPC Hogshead is a blend of very old Virginias cultivated in Africa, Brazil, and the United States. This wonderful Virginia leaf is then pressed and cut into slices.  Hogshead hearkens back to the heritage of the greatest Virginia Tobaccos ever available.  Hogshead is available now in a 2 ounce tin.  Joe Lankford's exquisite Virginia blend is now exclusively crafted by Cornell & Diehl.  PLEASE NOTE: Cornell & Diehl uses the original formula to produce Hogshead.  However, the original release of Hogshead by Sutliff was bourbon barrel aged for 30 days.  That is no longer the case.  We apologize for any confusion this might have caused.
