Gawith Hoggarth's Rum Flake pipe tobacco (also known as Jamaican Rum Flake in the U.K.) is a very rich, sweet fully-flavored aromatic blend. The main feature of Rum Flake is the high proportion (over 40%) of naturally sweet, sun-cured tobaccos in the blend. Virginia leaf makes up 30% of the blend, with the rest coming from Burleys and dark air-cured leaf.  Together, they provide a strong, but rewarding, smoke. The whole blend is cased in maple sugars to further enhance the natural sweetness of the sun-cured leaf and then rounded off with a dash of rum for added depth and body without sacrificing the natural tobacco flavors.  Yum!!

Rum Flake is available in 1 oz bulk size increments here and in 50g (1.76 oz) tins in our tinned tobacco section here. Please contact us if you wish to purchase this item in the 500g (17.5 oz) bulk size.
