Erik Nørding is a world renown pipe artisan. He has been carving pipes since the 1960s and he is respected wherever the pipe is enjoyed!  This Freehand series is called the "Extra" series because the intent is to give some thing a little special - a little "extra" to each pipe!  Nording was inspired by the patterns that come out of nature for these striking pipes!  Even the rings of each pipe use natural materials like bamboo, palm, or nuts from tropical plants.  Even the colors and surfaces bring a little "extra" to these amazing works of art!  Some refer to it as the  "Spruce" style, but when I first saw this pipe I named it the "Pine Cone" pipe because of the unique look.  It is completely unique!  I love this pipe and I know you will enjoy it!
