The Makhuwa blend is a medium-strong burley. Malawi burley forms the foundation mixed with a little red Virginia, Louisiana perique and a Virginia/white burley cube cut.  Described as wonderfully spicy and sweet, with slight nutty nuances and chocolate overtones in taste.  Makhuwa presents itself as a robust and spicy mixture for the seasoned piper.  Part of HU Tobacco's African line, Makhuwa is available in a 100 gram tins.
