Gawith & Hoggarth's Coniston Cut Plug pipe tobacco is a blend containing 75% dark fired leaf, 12.5% Malawi Burley, and 12.5% Virginia that is lightly flavored.  This is another of Gawith & Hoggarth's strong tobacco blends, and one that is perhaps dominated by the pungent burnt, smokey flavor so characteristic of leaf cured by open fire and smoke.
