Brown No.4 is packaged ready to smoke -- no drying needed.  Unless you're a veteran smoker of full-bodied, strong pipe tobacco, you may want to start by adding a small amount (i.e., a dime sized slice) of this blend to your regular blend of choice.  If smoking Brown No.4 on its own, it's recommended to use a small-medium bowl pipe and puff slowly (sip it) to appreciate all this blend has to offer.
